Should be a couple of good games. NL had some offensive issues in the scrimages but should get Asher and company rolling tommorow night. I just don't think JC will live up to the hype, don't get wrong they will still be a very good team when it is all said and done.

 

I think a lot of people aren't give Holmes any credit after the first few games last season they really got rollin. This season they have most of the offense back and everyone knows about the athletes esspecially Jefferson. SL will still have a potent offense with Bowling looking better than last season, but he also lost a lot of targets. SL will have some trouble up front and defensively. Jefferson should have a big night. Good luck to all four teams. (This is also my first post)

 

Welcome to BGP! I like your analysis! I think we could see 2 very good games.

 

For NL, Asher is the key. For JCHS, they have to replace Blume and that is no small task. NL has won their past 2 season openers in the CVB and I hope they do the same this year.

 

For SL, the line and WR's have to step up quickly. For Holmes, they have to develop some consistency with all that athleticism. If SL cannot keep Benton out of the Cardinal backfield, Bowling could be running for his life and he throws much better from the pocket than on the move. I just don't know if Holmes can hold SL's offense to 3 TD's or less.

Is both games going to be broadcast of wymt tonight? I know they said that the first game would be broadcast live, and the second game will be shown saturday at noon. I was checking my cable system guide just a minute ago and it was showing that the 8:00 to 11:00 game would be shown tonight. So that should be the 2nd game. Does anybody else know anything about this?

First game on 1 & 1/2 hr delayed broadcast beginning at 8pm. The second game will be broadcast at 12noon on Saturday.
