January 9, 201610 yr Jacksonville States only loss was in OT to Auburn in a gem they should have won. North Dakota St over the last 3 or 4 weeks has won me over...I love the way they play. Both teams have cruised through playoff s— JSU stomped Sam Houston State 62-10 in the semifinal while NDSU rolled by Richmond 33-7. Jacksonville State has scored at least 42 points in five consecutive games, including three in the postseason against top-caliber FCS schools. Recent history has been on NDSU's side with their postseason success, but Jacksonville State has been excellent all year. Its 311 rushing yards per game ranks third in FCS and no one in this tournament has stopped it so far.
January 9, 201610 yr Author 24-0 Jacksonville States explosive offense hasn't been able to stay on the field and NDSU hasn't been stopped.
January 9, 201610 yr Author I expected a close and competitive game, but so far this has been a mismatch. NDSU going for their 4th title in a row.
January 9, 201610 yr Author Jacksonville St comes out to open the 2nd half and get a score on their first drive...24-7 I think we may have a game now. If JSU gets a stop on NDSU this next drive, it's on!
January 9, 201610 yr I expected a close and competitive game, but so far this has been a mismatch. NDSU going for their 4th title in a row. 5th in a row, isn't it?
January 9, 201610 yr Yes, going for 5. Wondering if the weather is affecting JSU. It is upper 30s and windy; we call that spring in Fargo :lol2:
January 9, 201610 yr Gotta give Kleiman credit for going with Carson Wentz at QB. Despite one bad pick, he is the reason NDSU has controlled this game. As always, the Bison are crushing the opposition with time of possession.
January 9, 201610 yr This is by far the worst NDSU team of the five title teams. They return A LOT next season.
January 10, 201610 yr Author I love the Fargo Dome...if it was in Kentucky it would be perfect for the State Finals #PowerballList
