I can't disagree with any of the names listed. I know several of them and of the ones I know, they are extremely talented and hard working

Madison is the real deal. Made the 12th Region All Tournament team as a Freshman and had a great summer and fall season with KY Softball Club. Her and Katy Chadwell will be one of the top batteries in the 12th region.

I agree with all these girls. Good sophomore group. I have seen Makenzie Powenski and Madison Robbins play. Very good players. You will be impressed with Madison Coppage`s hitting. But like I said, I agree with all these names that have been put on here.

Jordan Ridge is a really nice Sophomore at Assumption. Probably will start at middle infield and has a very nice bat!

I noticed not many from southeastern ky.Kacie Russell from Harlan county high school,team record 27-8.she plays 1b and pitches.Batting average .491,hits 56,RBI 40,hr 3 one a grandslam,obp .553 and 22 doubles which I think lead the state.lead her team in all those stats.also plays travelball out of Johnson city tn.very powerful hitter .pretty good for a freshman.looking forward to watching her in her sophmore year.

Anyone want to update this? I have seen some really good sophmores this year. Many are already on this list and many are helping carry their team at this time.

Got to watch a couple of games here in Louisville. The pitcher from Mercy "Lexi Ray" should definitely be on that list. She has already beaten 5 teams from the so called top 25. The Ridge girl from Assumption is impressive. Roby from Bullitt East looks real good. Even if there schedule is soft. Lots of other good sophomores in louisville

Leslie Dixon batting .555 on the year for South Laurel. 17-game hit streak. Leads the team in almost every offensive category.

Madison Coppage-Harrison County Sister of 2013 Ky Miss Softball Ashley Coppage. Madison Hit around .440 last year and is improving everyday. Her dad, Roger Coppage is training her daily on her hitting, so we know where that is going. Madison plays 2nd base for Harrison County and is looking to improve on her defense this year. Looking for Madison to having a great year.

 

If she ends up hitting it like her sister...look out.

According to the stats that East Jessamine has posted to MaxPreps, Hannah James is batting .570 with 10 homeruns this year. She is also 24-2 in the circle with a 0.83 ERA, 266 Ks in 160 IP, 5 no-hitters and 3 perfect games. I'd say that's a solid sophomore season.

Montana Fouts is batting .542 with 30 RBI. She is 17-0 in the circle with a 0.13 ERA, 255 Ks in 109 IP (and only 11 hits and 5 walks!), 8 no-hitters and 6 perfect games. Not bad.

 

Teammate Eden Mayo is batting .459 with 24 runs scored.
