Maddie Martin is batting .623(!) for Carlsile County.

 

Bullitt East has only posted stats for a few games. In those 6 games Taylor Roby batted .611 with 9 RBI. She went 6-0 in the circle with an ERA of 0.51 and 49 K in 41 IP.

Coaches obviously need to post stats to the website or somewhere that MaxPreps can grab the stats.

Most teams don't report stats to maxpreps. I haven't seen 1 team in Louisville who does. Sure is some great stats reported here. Schedules are questionable.

I believe James, Roby, Mayo, Fouts were all on my list. Coppage wasn't. This is a good class.

Yep, that has been my point on other threads. Someone posted a kid having 29 steals in 14 games. Now, kid may be talented but unless she's playing a pretty crappy schedule, she's not stealing 29 bases in 14 games. She is not stealing those bases against Ballard, Central Hardin, Assumption, Male, Eastern, Mercy, Butler and Bullitt East, just to name a few. It is not happening!

I agree that you have to look at strength of schedule to accurately evaluate the status of some of these players. I believe that a girl batting 430 vurses top 10 teams is probably as battle tested as it gets. Although how do you compare a kid batting 500 that has only played lesser teams. I'm going with the battle tested kid batting 430 against the best of the best. Just my 2 cents.

We are building a program at Cooper, we aren't ready to play the top 10 teams day in and day out. But that doesn't diminish what one of my players has done. No one is trying to take anything away from your team, so please try not to do it to us.

I didn't mention your school or the kid so was not trying to call you, them or her out in any respects. I shouldn't have even commented and you are a 1000% correct that my comments appear to be taking something away from her and your team, although again, I didn't mention either by name! I appreciate your work as a coach and need to review my comments before posting them! Best of luck with the rest of the season!
