BIG BLACK JACK

Good thread, wife and I were talking about this the other day. We did not go on a honeymoon last year when we got married and were looking to plan a trip.

What about places without sand and water, wife hates the beach.

Independence, Ky!.......or Vegas

We also did Sandals in St. Lucia. We did the Grand as the other 2 on the island had to come to the Grand's beach. Loved it, and want to go back.

Why did they have to come to the Grande for the beach? We stayed at Halcyon and while the beach wasn't huge, it was plenty big for everyone there to use.

I could see why La Toc would have to venture to another resort for the beach though.

Oh, and we're trying to make a return trip either this year or the next. Absolute paradise IMO.

:lol2: Gatlinburg or Chicago my man. No beach, no planes equals very limited options.

I hate Chicago (used to work their) so thats out. Been to TN with her two many times to count.

We have actually talked about flying up to Maine this summer and driving back home, taking our time just seeing what we see.

I think cause the Grand was more in a cove, the conditions were safe and the others were not, so maybe that was why. It's been about 5 years. The roads are a little terrifying:lol2:

Pocono Mountains in Pennsylvania offers several all-inclusive options. Lots to do. My wife and I went on our honeymoon there in 1985. Unfortunately, our resort was torn down to create a casino. But there are several other places that remain. I played my first ever round of golf there.
