Just a darn shame.

Saw this on-line and TV news. According to all accounts he was a fine young man and his actions proved it. So sad to lose a young man who had a bright future.

Horrible news...I hope the shooters are caught and get what is coming to them in full.

John 15:13 No one has a greater love than this: that he lay down his life for his friends.

So sad that a good kid like this never had a chance to grow up and make a positive impact on the community in which he lived. But because of him, three kids are alive today. I just feel that instead of worrying about issues like global warming/climate, our leaders should concentrate on stopping the self inflicted genocide of young folks happening in our cities.

Three lives saved... I'd say that's a pretty positive impact.

In a way it is, but had this young man not been killed who knows the impact he would have had on many more where he lived. And THAT is a sad fact of many inner city communities.

Zaevion was recongized posthumously tonight with a courage award at the ESPYs.

Sadly, his 12-yr-old cousin was also gunned down that same year as he was walking home from a basketball game.
