FINAL.

Maybe I missed it but I didn't see this posted. I can't believe no one posted it.

This game will never decide a playoff team or a National Champion but is probably the best football game played in any season. Army played Navy toe to toe the entire game, lost their last chance at a score to go ahead with around 2 min. left when they threw an int. on a trick play / pass. Ball was intercepted on the Navy 2 yd. line. Army got the ball back after that by stopping Navy with a 3 / out but only seconds left and they had to throw a Hail Mary pass that fell incomplete in the end zone.

Great football game but as I see it, this game is a must see every season bc of what it stands for. From the Cadets and Midshipment march into Veterans Stadium through both teams uniting to sing alma maters together.

Every player on both teams are going pro after graduation. Only their profession is much more important than the NFL and pays a lot less. All these men do is fight to keep every single one of us free so we can have the lives we live and enjoy every day. Freedom isn't free. They deserve our respect every day.

America Wins this game Every Season.

Oh btw ... No One sings our National Anthem any better than the combined Army / Navy Choirs ......if this doesn't bring a tear of pride to everyone then I have no idea what would .

THANK YOU TO ALL VETERANS !

Love this game. Navy has a very good team, with one of the best athletes in the country who should have been a Heisman finalist. Reynolds is a stud.

Navy if they beat ND and Houston then maybe this game could have decided a playoff bid!

Well said @oldrambler

Go Navy!

How about those navy helmets. Awesome. I mean really really awesome.

Man, OR, that was an awesome write-up!

Thank you Bluto and Godot, I have my moments. Just not very many.

Great post OR, and a great game. It is the one college game that I will not miss, period, end of sentence. Those young men are the role models our kids should be looking up to.
