How is that hypocritical??? What did he criticize to begin with? He just made a statement that transfers have helped several teams , boys and girls, but that they don't build strong programs. Same thing at the collegiate level with JUCO's...sometimes they come in and help out for a year or two, but they rarely, if ever help establish a strong program that can sustain itself over time. Again I ask, how is his statement hypocritical?

I do know the root of the comment and did not feel that was the case at all...as he pointed out in his follow up, severl teams in the 16th, boys & girls, have benefitted from transfers just in recent memory. West Carter, Ashland, Rose Hill, Russell, Boyd, East Carter....the list goes on. What he said is in fact true and his statement that transfers don't build a program is also true, IMO.

So with the logic of post #18 with reference to post #6, Ashland, West Carter, Boyd, Rose Hill, Russell, East Carter, etc. have accepted transfers and then have not built programs. That's a bunch of hogwash! Well, Let's send all the transfers back where they came from and start from there!

The teams you mention, with the exception of Rose Hill's Boys, already had quality teams to begin with and their success will continue after those transfers have gone. With Rose Hills boys, when the transfers left, so did the success...
