? Does Augusta play NCC?

It's going to be a tough year in E-town, Lloyd and St. Henry both seem to be struggling.

Lloyd losing to NCC by 3 and losing to a pretty good Augusta team is not an indicator of them having a though year. St. Henry has played a pretty good schedule as well. Both of the E town teams could easily shock someone at the end of the season.

I think both will put together some wins. We will probably see one of them in the region.

Sterling Hamilton will continue to grow into a top NKY player.

Dave will have his team together by March. St. Henry needs to find a consistent 3rd scorer on the roster.

Friday's prep results in NKY

Did not see this game, but encouraged to see Shoemaker's performance against Bracken appears a warning of things to come. 5'9" maybe 5'10" at the most, plays forward and will battle the bigs all night long. Soft shot with the left hand and surprises defenders how quickly and effectively he gets his shot off underneath. Going to be a real contributor while Snapp comes back from surgery. Panthers are small, but solid in all five starters and are going to give the wide open 10th Region fits this year. Pendleton on Monday, and Mason next Monday could be great for the fans and blood pressure problems for Kirk, Belcher and Biggs.

This game was never in doubt. Augusta jumped out to a 24-9 lead after 1 quarter and allowed Lloyd to creep a little closer on a few occasions, the closest being 7. And as they have shown in their previous games, they never got rattled, just continued to do their job, knowing what they were doing was working and would produce points eventually. They know those points are going to come from somewhere and you can see the satisfaction on their faces whether they've made the assist or the shot. Their balance on the scoreboard makes them dangerous every time they take the floor, as if they weren't dangerous enough as it is.
