PurplePride92
New thread. Same question. Should I start Eli Manning against the Dolphins in Miami on Monday Night Football? Or Should I start Aaron Rodgers against the Dallas Cowboys at home on Sunday?
PurplePride92
Eli is projected to give 24. Aaron is projected to give 26.
PurplePride92
In this league passing TDs are 6 points. You also get bonus points for long TD plays. 40-49 yard TD play is worth 9 points. 50-99 yard TD play is worth 11 points.
RondoRules
What about Eli or Jameis vs the Saints?
PurplePride92
For the year Eli has scored 361 points for an average of 30.1 points a game. Aaron Rodgers has been a below average Aaron Rodgers this season without Jordy Nelson. He has scored 352 points for an average of 29.3 points a game. PurplePride92
What about Eli or Jameis vs the Saints? I think I'd play Jameis against the Saints over Eli. And Jameis is available on our waiver wire I think. Sigh......
PurplePride92
I also have Odell Beckham, James Jones and Jarvis Landry on this team. Not playing James Jones though.
PurplePride92
Yeah, Jameis was available. Just picked him up. So now throw him into the mix. :lol2: Eli, Aaron or Jameis against the absolute worst defense in the league?
PurplePride92
The Cowboys have done a good job defensively against QBs when it comes to fantasy points and Aaron has been a roller coaster all season. The Dolphins suck against the pass and the Saints are awful defensively period. Is Aaron Rodgers still an "always start regardless of the matchup" QB this season or is the best thing to play matchups at this point? I need to win to make the playoffs this week. Win and I'm in. Lose and I need some help to get in.

halfback20
It's hard to predict what the Giants offense will do. They might go on a 4 game tear, or they might fall completely apart. One thing I can guarantee is that they will lead 80-90% of the game, only to lose it in the final minutes.

statman
With the weather forecast in Green Bay today calling for 100% chance of rain and Rodgers inconsistent play, I would have to go Eli.
PurplePride92
I'm going with Eli. Screw it.
PurplePride92
Eli was the right choice. He has 27 points through the third quarter. Aaron finished with 24.
