Looking at it the other way...Mich St got the best draw for them also. Mich St IMO doesn't match up well with Clemson or OU...Bama wasn't the only one that was happy about this match-up...Michigan St has to be pretty pumped also.

Great point, I'm looking forward to watching the end of both games and hoping they're worth watching.

Keeping your them alive, perhaps the folks picking these games recognized this would create very different hype around both games. Hype we know, could be very different leading into the Championship game.

Just ask yourself this question. Do you trust Jake Coker to make the throws in order to beat MSU? If you are saying yes, then you either know something I don't, or you are simply letting your bias shine through. All 3 other QB's are at the tops of college football, Is Jake Coker even a top 50 QB in college football?

Cook doesn't have Derrick Henry behind him running the ball. Coker is good at 1 thing, hitting the deep post to Ridley. Coker has a good arm, he just doesn't make the in between throws. In the close games Bama has had where Henry was contained for most of the game, Coker wasn't able to make the throws. It took Henry a while to get going in that game and Coker was incapable of putting together drives throwing the ball in the mean time.

Alabama has the better defense and the better offense. I just see no way possible, outside of an injury to Henry, that Michigan State wins. I don't think it'll be the blowout many are predicting, but I think they win by 2 scores. 24-10.

Better offense, or best player? I think theres a huge difference.

There is a difference. And they have both to answer your question.

Fair enough. I disagree about the better offense, but I don't think either team is leaps and bounds better offensively than the other.

66% completion only throwing long? Lol. Thats one way to spin similar season stats. It tells me he can make the throws to beat MS if it comes to it. Has shown nice improvement through the year. I personally don't think he will be called upon to have to win the game.

We'll just have to wait and see tonight. I personally think he is going to have to make a couple throws late in the 4th and I don't think he can. Maybe he does, but I would bet against it. Michigan State has the guys up front control Henry enough that they will force Coker to throw the ball more than he is used to.
