I met a kid last night named Jarrett Van Meter who is a writer. He is writing "season with..." type book this year following three KY high school teams - CCH, Clay County, and Taylor County.

 

Sounds like the coaches are going to give him some access to more than just games.

 

It will be interesting to read his story.

No. When I say "kid@ it's relative to being 52. Went to Sayre. Graduated from U Vermont. In his 20s.

Does he have a title yet or is he waiting to be inspired after his has his experiences?

Talked to Jarrett last night. Slam Magazine will be carrying an excerpt of this book in September.

Sounds like the book is getting close to a release. I'll know more soon. Should be an interesting read about 3 programs from around the state.
