Can any one give me any insight on Pikeville and what they have coming back this year

John Michael Mayo will be returning as the QB and one of the Returning LB's

Pikeville only lost one starter on the defensive line.

The honaker twins return, along with the Jackson brothers.

Jordan Tibbs, Clay Elliott, Bradley Bryant, Casey Rowe, Ryan Shurtleff all return as linemen.

 

Mayo, Sword, Harmon, just to mention a few.

 

Will Lockhart and Weston Robinson will be sorely missed.

Thanks for the info. I grew up in the pikeville area and just got back interested in high school football a couple years ago.

I see Pikeville plays Henry Clay in the Pike County bowl. This sounds like a big game for Pikeville. I like seeing the smaller schools take on the bigger schools. That is if the smaller school can play with them.

Sounds like Pikeville brings a lot back to both sides of the ball.

Pikeville will go as far as their off season weight lifting program takes them if, that makes since to anyone.

I hope thats the case because I have heard that it has been a very intense weightlifting/conditioning program.

 

I expect the Panthers to be improved this year in Coach Jackson's 2nd year. Henry Clay will be tough in the Pike County Bowl but playing teams like that can only help a class A school come playoff time.

This is great to hear good luck to the pathers.

I understand the weight program means a lot to every football program but you still have to have the athletes . I mean the kids that can play the game. How are Pikevilles Numbers? Do they have any young up and coming kids?

Weve got a talented freshmen class coming up with a couple of good RBs and some lineman with alot of potential.

Pikeville will be very good, how good remains to be seen. A lot of talent there.
