MAYSVILLE, Ky. (WKYT) - It looks like Christmas will be safe from the Grinch this year, because he was "arrested" Friday night in Mason County.

The Mason County Detention Center posted the Grinch's mug shot to its website. Jail officials say he's being held on a charge of stealing Christmas.

Jail leaders say this is all in fun. The Grinch was "arrested" as part of Maysville's Twilight Christmas Parade Friday night.
