Garrard County 80 Anderson County 76

Featured Replies

Rough game with lots of fouls. Anderson led early before Garrard moved ahead by eight at half. Lead was between 7-12 the rest of the night before Anderson hit a three at the buzzer.

Nick McCollum led Garrard with 39 points.

I think McCollum will lead their area in scoring this year. He can play!

Gotta say, didn't see this one ending up this way.

How'd Crutchfield do? He's their best all around player IMO. Has been for years.

So is mcollum there goto man this year ? Who else does GC have to depend on?

Anderson seems to be able to score the ball well still with graduating Austin Cummins last season that put up big numbers in multiple appearances.

I can see it. He emerged as a big time scorer last season.

They have 3-4 kids that could score 20+ on any given night, but I don't think they will have anyone average anything around that. This very well could be a team that has 4 kids averaging double digits by seasons end...10-15 ppg.

He and Crutchfield are both big time scorers. The problem Garrard had last season was there really were no scorers behind them. It looks like there are a few kids who have developed and could help shoulder some of that burden this year.

Who do they play next and will they be able to match up and score that easy against them and do that on a every time out basis?
