Mike Mitchell: We want to run the AFC North - You hear me spindoc?

That said, as a player, Mitchell's horrible and I can't wait for somebody else to push him out.

Side note: My son may have lunch with Mike today while we are in PGH.

I don't think that is a fair assessment. Mike has his strengths.

Well, every defense needs an enforcer, so he's helping with that role. He makes hard hits and receivers have to be wary of him after the catch. That's a plus. He's awful in coverage, but has been a little better this year.

Agree

And like I have said before, teams need to gameplan for Mike. Play your cards right and you can consistently beat Mitchell down the field, if not, he crushes all your skilled players.

Has Mike been the most successful Bluebird/NKY post high school player in football? 8th year in league, any thoughts from BGP'ers?

How many years was Marty Moore in the league?

And either way no matter what other player we are talking about it isn't a competition, what Mike Mitchell has done is amazing.

Mr. Marty Moore had some years in the NFL. He played for the Patriots and was on the team when they won 2 super bowls. I know he has one ring for sure and was on injured reserve for the other one. I don't know if you get a ring being on IR. He finished his NFL career with the Browns due to injury.

Your a player if you play over ten years in the NFL as a starting safety on multiple teams.

I don't know why people give him a bad rap, he's been out of high school forever.
