F.C. Cincinnati Updates

Featured Replies

Tryouts are at 2pm on Saturday at Getter Stadium on UC's campus. Open to the public.

I may sound really ignorant when I say this, but what is F.C. Cincinnati?

The coach is John Harkes. Played on two US World Cup teams in the 90s, and was the first American to ever play in the Premier League.

One thing I've found interesting is the color and logo selection by FC Cincinnati. They are particularly interesting when you compare them to the Cincinnati Dutch Lions, who played their first season using Xavier University's facilities in 2014.

The Dutch Lions is a 4th tier Premier Development League, who shares ownership with the Houston Dutch Lions and the Dayton Dutch Lions. They Dayton Dutch Lions played in the 3rd tier USL from 2011-2014 before choosing to move back down to the PDL for the 2015 season.

I'm wondering if the FC Cincinnati owners (the primary owner is Carl Lindner III) are alluding to an eventual bid for ownership of the Dutch Lions PDL franchise in an effort to eventually grow their own brand into a MLS franchise.

Season tickets purchased. 3 families got 3 tickets and 2 parking passes midfield. Pretty cool. Boys are pumped

Renewed mine here in Louisville last week. Can't wait for the road trip to Cincinnati.

I'm buying Randy an FC Cincy shirt, an air horn, and a seat directly behind yours :)
