BEChargers Posted November 18, 2015 Posted November 18, 2015 Campbellsville University and Lindsey Wilson College both made the NAIA 16 team playoffs. CU made it as an automatic qualifier for winning the MSC and Lindsey was selected as an at large bid. LWC must travel to Iowa to face 2013 National Champion Grand View U.
WestDanville Posted November 18, 2015 Posted November 18, 2015 Surprised Campbellsville will have to be on the road after winning the mighty MSC. Guess they're punishing the MSC for not being as dominant as usual this year.
WESTSIDE Posted November 18, 2015 Posted November 18, 2015 I was hoping Georgetown would slide in but I guess their bad start was too much to overcome. Good luck to the Ky teams that did make it.
BEChargers Posted November 19, 2015 Author Posted November 19, 2015 Yeah I thought CU would play at home the first week also. I guess the rankings kinda determine that. Only 16 teams in and unless you are top 8 or so I guess you are on the road. IDK
Jim Schue Posted November 20, 2015 Posted November 20, 2015 Those back-to-back losses by Lindsey to finish out October were awfully costly. They went from No. 1 to sneaking in at 13.
horst muhlmann Posted November 20, 2015 Posted November 20, 2015 Those back-to-back losses by Lindsey to finish out October were awfully costly. They went from No. 1 to sneaking in at 13. They sure were. Lindsey's 26-21 loss to CU was a killer. They held All-world NAIA passer Jacob Russell down that game. Likely his lowest output of the season. Lindsey is down a bit this year offensively but has one of the best defenses in the MidSouth Conference. The future is bright at Lindsey as they are now able to redshirt kids that a couple of years ago would have played as true freshman. I expect them to contend for national titles every year going forward.
stinkyboy II Posted November 20, 2015 Posted November 20, 2015 How long does it take to get to Grand View University in Iowa from the Northern Kentucky area??
BEChargers Posted November 20, 2015 Author Posted November 20, 2015 CU indeed was the killer. Defense blanked them the second half. Dropped passes and turnovers killed. Not sure D could have played much better.
BEChargers Posted November 20, 2015 Author Posted November 20, 2015 How long does it take to get to Grand View University in Iowa from the Northern Kentucky area?? Prob about 10 hours. Maybe 9
