And her hubby won the state and remains fairly popular here. She has a long uphill fight to actually win KY but it's not out of the realm of possibility, depending on who her opposition is. At this point, the odds are probably a bit long that she wins here.

Bevin can shut down KYNECT by executive order since Beshear started in the same way.

 

Makes sens to do it as well. There is a federal exchange, why should KY taxpayers fund KYNECT when the federal exchange exists?

 

Not quite as simple as that! Now that KYNECT has started, there must be a 12 month transition (or more) to the Federal Exchange.

 

Items like this is where Bevin will have the greatest challenges. Got to lay the groundwork, have consistency in the message and build support to get things done. Will need to show more patience and consistent message than I've seen so far!

KYNECT isn't needed if there's a federal exchange. Why pay for something that's not needed?

I never really understood why we started it. Again I assumed it something to do with state control over federal control which to me is normally a conservative platform.
