So, basically how every game plays out?

Will be a tough game for Union to win. Adair margin of victory this year is 25 points. Put that with the 3.5 hour bus ride for Union and Adair being a two to three touchdown favorite, playing at home, seems to spell Adair moving on to play Caldwell next Friday night. The weather is probably going to be a factor with a 80% chance of rain and possible storms. Everything against Union for this match-up. A win for Union would definitely be an upset.According to the KHSAA web site, this game is going to be played at Lindsey Wilson.

I'm not sure I'd be so quick to dismiss Union County.

 

The Braves are pretty good on defense, especially against the run, and can control the clock with their offense. They have a few more athletes than you may think. I also think they are pretty well coached. The only big head scratcher for me this year was the lopsided loss to Madisonville. Outside of that, Union's only losses were to Caldwell County and Paducah Tilghman.

 

Adair might be 9-1, but the only decent team they've played is Elizabethtown. And Adair lost that game 43-15. I believe Adair has to be able to throw the ball effectively to beat Union.

 

I think this game is a lot more even than some people might think.

Statement about Adair throwing the ball is another advantage for Adair. Melton is pretty accurate and Brabson with 9 td's evidently is a good receiver, especially in close.Those two could have a field day against a weak Union pass defense. I am sure Coach Gay has watched a lot of film and it will be interesting to see if he throws more than usual. My guess is yes.

This can potentially be among the best games in the state this week. I'm picking Adair but I think it's close.

Not a 3 seed, but 4A Franklin County is a 7-3 #4 seed that's also ranked in the Top 10 of 4A. Yikes!

I know people here always complain about teams getting into the playoffs with a bad record, but I think that these handful of teams are a nice counter to that.

Union does a few things really well. They have a pretty good qb and rb that keep you off- balanced.

I do not see a Union victory as a huge upset because Adairs' record is against less than stellar competition.

I will take Union in a close one 23-21
