FS was in control all the way.

 

14-0 after one and at the half. 28-6 after three. FS scored once in the 4th, then RHS scored against the FS Fr/JV with under a minute to go.

 

Ironically Russellville's two scores were on passes. Their only completions. FS did not attempt a pass.

FS will host Madisonville next week.

FS was fired up on Senior Night. Defense has played very well against the run ever since adjustments were made after the Greenwood game. FS with no pass attempts but caught 3 passes...by Russellville. Also recovered an early Panther fumble. QB Jackson Caudill scored on a run on 4th down on what looked like the only called pass play of the night after he was forced to scramble.

Madisonville's visit to FS next week will be their 4th in 5 seasons in the playoffs. FS won in '11 and '13 while the Maroons won last year.

Dissappointed with Russellville tonight. Seems they can beat decent to bad teams but get handled by good teams.

 

Congrats to Franklin! No reason you can't win a couple playoff games!
