It will be played on Alice Lloyd's field this Sunday but im not exactly sure about the times yet. Does anyone know who all will be participating in this game? I know that Coach Varney from Powell is the head coach and the players from Powell are 1B- Colten King, SS- Keenan Muncie, 2B- Joe Snowden, and P- Corey Benningfield.

Does any one know the complete list of players to make the team? And who made the east all stars team from the 14th region?

Two player that made the Junior East All Star Game was Hazard's Mehan and Leslie's Baker

Senior East All Star Hendrix and Morgan Both made it but if there's n e more idk.

(sorry if the names are spelled incorrectly)

14th region sweeps the 13th region

14th region team had about 25 players compared to the 13th's roster of about 13-15 guys. That kept everybody in the 14th rested and fresh. A definite plus on a hot day. Congrats to the team on their wins over the 13th!

Scott Watts-PCC

Quentin Morgan-Leslie Co.

Riley Hendrix-Leslie Co.

Timmy Baker-Leslie Co.

Kevin Davidson-Buckhorn

If you're referring to the eighth grader,I'm sure he's a good ballplayer. I'ts just that I thought this was for juniors and seniors. Actually there are quite a few good young players around the region, maybe they should do something seperate for them. And as for the rest of the choices, I believe a player's coach can nominate any player they choose and the other coaches vote on the nominations(or at least I think that's how it works). It is a matter of opinion and I'm sure some coaches' relationships with each other sometimes influence decisions, but for the most part they get it right. A couple of things I don't understand though, is not choosing another catcher or two. Only two were used this year as opposed to 4-5 last year. There may have been a couple chosen that just didn't choose to play. Several pitchers were used also, but there were some good pitchers who didn't pitch at all. Overall,I'd say the coaches did a pretty good job of choosing, everybody got some playing time(some a little more than others) and both games were won.
