Who are the Q.B's to watch in N.KY. in 2006 ??

Featured Replies

Jay Draper is the likely quarterback for Highlands, but Clay Cecil is another option. Newport's quarterback, J.J. Hesch, will return for his senior season and third season as starting quarterback.

Bricking at Dixie, and Blesser at CCH should have great seasons.

Kyle Benken from Ryle and Shawn Bogel from Boone should do OK, and Josh Elbert from SK will start at QB for the third year and should do well too.

Newport Wildcats return 2 year starter JJ Hesch. He has to be one of the top QB's in the state. I am not for sure but did'nt he throw like 9 touchdown passes in one game? Pretty amazing at any level or Class!!!

JJ is an outstanding quarterback and he did indeed tie the state record last year for throwing 9 touchdowns in the Spencer County game and he also has numerous school records of his own.

Scott Grizzle from Raceland imo should recieve some notice. He is a senior and 3yr. starter. Last season Scott ranked 16th statewide and 3rd in Class A amoung qb's. He passed for 193.8yds. per game and had 151 completions 227 attempts with 23 td's. I am not sure but I think that he has passed for over 2,000 yds. in each of the last two seasons.

I think you may have wanted to post in the other thread about "the state of KY QB's" and not just NKY, as Raceland is a little south of us.:D

I just noticed that and was in the process of doing just that while you were posting, Thanks. Could a mod please remove my post on this thread - I have already posted it on the other "state of Ky. QB's" thread. Sorry.

I was just having some fun OR. It was an honest mistake, we all knew that.:D

The QB from CovCath has a very good arm. He also has some really good receiving talent to work with.

I can agree with that.
