Final.

Bring on the Bluebirds!

cCam Not much a surprise. From listening online it sounds like CCH just played OK.

Dyer had a big game rushing.

Kam Butler had a big game on D. I noted this soph after the CCH/LexCath game. Kid is a challenge now and will be a top player in NKY over the next 2 seasons.

However, the highlight of the day for me and all Conner Cougar oldbloods was Cam Pitzer. Cam's dad and uncle both played at Conner in the 80s. First time ever playing offense in high school and ended up with about 5 catches for maybe 100 yards and 2 TDs. Having grown up with the Pitzer family, including Cam's dad Brad, I can tell you that everyone is excited.

Cam's had some challenges to overcome this year so to see him get a day in the sun is one of the highlights of the year for me.

So indulge this old Conner Cougar for a minute when I say "CougarFPride."

CCH was pretty sloppy at times. Had a couple balls that hit the receivers hands that ended up being intercepted. But they had to much for Grant to make this a close game. Grant County had a few nice players but a lot of them never came off the field. I thought #12 was a pretty good player. More of an athlete being asked to play qb it seems. But looked to play hard, never really coming off the field as he also played safety.

Butler is good. Didn't play frosh ball last year and contributed on Varaity starting some games. He can play anywhere the defense needs him.

Great to hear about Pitzer-what a nice weapon they added.
