Haven't played NDA yet - October 3rd is the matchup.

 

FWIW, NCC is 18-0; their final regular-season game is against NDA.

They could be one of 5 teams in the 9th region. It just depends on which team shows up to play. The same can be said for Highlands NDA, and Boone County now that they are somewhat healthy. NCC has been the best at this point and their match up with NDA next week could be a 9th region finals preview. I don't really see anyone else as a threat in the 9th.

Does anyone have any details on this game. St. Henry is a good team, but a little surprised since Highlands has been playing very well lately. Nice win for the Crusaders. Yes the nine region tourney looks like it should be wide open this year.

It was 2-0 St. Henry at half. HHS came out and tied it up. Then there was a PK for St. Henry to put them up 3-2. Highlands got a chance at a PK and to tie the score and missed. Good game.

What kind of shape is St. Henry's field in at this time of year?

It was a little slick in places from the rain this week but overall I would say it is in pretty nice condition.

Rained tonight at the JV boys game there.......you could tell the boys that wore their firm ground cleats....slipping and sliding. Mud in front of the goal which made the pk shoot out tough for the keepers.

 

Still in decent shape, but probably the worse it has been in 5 years.......and yet, could still be the best of the grass fields (haven't seen Scott's field this year)

HHS played fairly well first half, gave up a reckless,silly own goal in later part of first half (4th of the year, seems like a lot to me, how many have other teams given up). Then with 30 seconds to go in first half HHS D decided to stop playing and gave up another goal to end the half. HHS came out strong second half, scored in less than 2 mins and then again around 6 min mark. SH made a PK and HHS had a PK to tie game but missed (took teams leading scorer off line on PK?). Then HHS fans where left scratching their heads at the coaching substitutions in last 14 mins of game. It was actually painful to watch.
