Is Dillon Doverspike the same kid whose brother plays for Walton Verona? I thought he also would play at WV.

Can't wait for Wednesday. Prior to tonight I would have thought Cov Cath, Beechwood and Ryle were the 3 best freshman teams. Ryle could only put up 7 points on Cooper?! Next Wednesdays game is for 1 and 2 between Cov Cath and Beechwood.

Yes. His brother is a senior at WV. Dylan transferred this year to Beechwood. He never ran the ball prior to this year. He is a very strong runner. Also, he is a very good baseball player.

He is also a very nice kid. He played in BCPWFL for a while.

He does run hard, hard to believe he has never run the football before, looks very instinctive when he carries the football. Beechwood looks to have some nice athletes on the freshmen team.

Anyone from Scott have any information from their side? Pretty big loss.

I believe Scott is better than the score. The strongest runner #20 went down early with an injury (looked concussed). On the few carries that he did have... he moved the ball. He looked like he wanted back in but was not allowed by the coaches. They couldn't move the ball after that. Several other Eagles were injured in this game. I think they only had 3 or 4 subs by the end of the game. I could tell that they were having to put kids in positions that they have never played before. Also, Scotts bus showed up 10 minutes prior to the game. That is not enough time to stretch the kids out and prepare. Not sure why we didn't put time on the clock for them or why they were so late. Hope all of the kids are alright. Their sideline looked like a infirmary.
