September 22, 201511 yr Too much or too little? Pope Francis basically doesn't want any security. I saw some footage of him eating food that was being handed to him, and riding around unprotected. Basically the story was that he is an easy target, if somebody wants to assassinate him.
September 22, 201511 yr I live in an area affected by his visit. The amount of planning and security is insane. Some interstates and roads shut down within a thirty mile radius starting 24 hours in advance of his visit. It's going to be a nightmare traveling anywhere. No street parking anywhere in the city. They are towing everything all week. I know some people who are trying to go and see him on his path through town, but even if I were Catholic I can't imagine navigating the road closings and mobs of people to get anywhere near the vicinity of him.
