Pendleton County 29 Jackson County 22

From what I'm seeing on Twitter, PC overcame a 22 point deficit to earn its first victory of the season.

I was told Pendleton County scored all 29 of their points in the 4th quarter.

a tale of 2 halves for the Cats. Offense was very stagnant early on, with little to no success in moving the ball, while Jackson County was rolling along behind Hurst and Bingham. Coming out of intermission, Pendleton did a much better job in getting penetration into the Generals' backfield and slowed the run game down. PC also went to a primarily pass offense and moved the ball. Austin Stull did an outstanding job reading the defense and getting the ball where it needed to.

Some very gutsy calls by Pc down the stretch. Trailing 22-21, the Cats decide to go for 2 and were successful. On the ensuing kickoff, PC decides to onside kick, which Mason Dennie placed perfectly.

A great job all around by the contingent from Falmouth.

On a side note, I can't say enough about the fine folks in Jackson County. The guys in the press box were more than gracious to us, as well as the people running the concession stand. Very hospitable group!

Congratulations Pendleton County

Congrats to the Cats and their supporters.
