Raceland 42 East Carter 12

Featured Replies

Rams finally got some life in them after half, came out and just TCB ! East is an improved football team that plays hard and they didn't quit when it went to a running clock like a lot of teams would. Good luck to EC the rest of the way.

RAMS ...... Nice win, now lets get concentrated on next week.

Where's this Ford kid been th entire game? I know that the Rams have been running some JV kids, but sounds like Ford is a tough runner.

To quote you from the update thread, it is a bit upsetting to not see him get the ball more but Raceland had all the momentum the second half. Ford is part of a very good sophomore class, Darin Phillips is the number one back but it would surprise me to see Ford take over that spot by season end if he keeps running hard. He's been named top RB at a few camps in his class

That's a better ball team in Orange, and Rams are still my 1A favorite. Congratulations to Raceland and I hope you all have a better season. The fans are nice and I hope East can develop a contender in the following years like you guys.

As for East I thought everything was going fine but when they botched the first play and allowed a fumble return for a TD to start the half they never recovered the momentum. Penalties hurt them. Just didn't have the beef up front. Gonna have to play better next week against the Comets, who are a very physical team.

Again congrats!

Never doubted that the Rams would win but I can be honest when saing I though it would be closer.

Was 42-6, last TD was given up near end of game with starters on the bench. The Rams came to life in the 3rd qtr after the Raiders owned them the entire 2nd qtr. Final was 42-12.

Rams came out on fire on the first play of the second half and forced that fumble which that's all they needed to get rolling. Really good defensive team this year for the Rams. The offensive line IMO isn't as good as years past but the season is really early so they have some time to develop. The best running back overall for them IMO is Walker. Runs hard every time. The QB settled in during the second half and was making some good throws. The game next week for Raceland I'm thinking is gonna be under 20 for both teams

Congrats Raceland. Maybe this was the game the Rams needed to wake themselves up.

I believe that this East coach, if given the time, can build something there.

Time is the key. He is only 27 but the community needs to understand it takes time!
