Ventured out to the Ashland, Raceland JV game. Raceland started out on fire, but Ashland crept with in a score late in the 4th. Raceland had two qb's that could really sling it.

Was Ratliff the starting QB for the JV team? If so, how did he look?

Congrats to the young Rams? Who are their two young QB's? I imagine they'll be backups for at least another year.

He looked real jittery. One of his first throw was in int. Got sacked on numerous occasions. Was running for his life most of the night. Very poor line play. He did have a couple good runs. I think his longest run was 15 yards, maybe. Did settle down after a bit, had a couple of completions. Had a td pass called back on offensive pass interference. Dicky actually came on to the field to yell at the official. It was a poor call, in my opinion.

Congrats to Raceland. The Ashland kids need to keep their heads up and work on getting better. Ashland loses a lot of seniors this year so your time to shine will be here before you know it.

This game was a tale of two halfs. In the end Raceland scored 4 tds and Ashland scored 4 tds. The difference was in the conversions.

Who are some of the studs on these two JV teams? The future of the program's I guess. Is Black the QB for Raceland JV? I may be wrong but Racelands JV grades were all successful in middle school I thought.

I don't know about this year, but normally the Raceland/Ashland JV game is played at Raceland.
