Highlands, St. Henry girls run from cross country pack

 

First big race is this weekend at Grant County. Same location as Regional this year so it should be a competitive field. St. Henry has a senior heavy team this year with a lot of experience. They are returning 5 of their 7 state runners from last year's team. A little worried about the lack of runners in the pipeline for next year, coach Harden is going to need to find some runners.

Are there any other big meets coming up in NKY?

You can also click "calendar" at top of page for all races. I would guess that the top meets in NKY this year that will get most of the local teams running at the same time will be next weeks Raider Invitational at Ryle. St.Henry invitational at Idlewild on 10/10 and the NKAC at Idlewild on 10/13.

I always try to catch a meet. Love watching them go.

My niece finished 4th in the girl's MS race at Grant, helping Cooper to a 1st place finish.

Beechwood ran well and should push St. H this year. Good start to the season for all the teams. I do not know how many runners NDA has but the JV race seem to have half the runners be from NDA!

I was told by one of the Notre Dame moms that they have 82 runners!!!! Wow!!!
