Science Friction
Where does Cincy rank in schedule toughness? Seems like we always have a pretty tough schedule. Is it any easier this year?
NEERFAN
I may be in the minority but I don't put much stock in it. The NFL is hard to pick week to week so basing it off last seasons data seems crazy.

frankdracman23
If you are in a "good" division then you almost always have one of the tougher schedules because that is 6 of your games. Add in the NFC division you are playing and if they are good then that's 4 more games. The other 6 are basically based on where you finished. If you are in a "bad" division then you get a weak schedule because 6 of your games are against bad teams
Hellbird
The Bengals SOS would be easier but they don't get to play themselves

If you are in a "bad" division then you get a weak schedule because 6 of your games are against bad teams That is not true. Each year you also play another division in your conference. The Bengals play the AFC West and the NFC West this year. The whole where you finished in your division really doesn't effect your schedule at all. There is only 2 games that is based off of where you finish. The other 14 games you know exactly who you play the next year before the season even ends.
