ELSMERE, Ky. -- A woman is dead after a domestic dispute Thursday night, and a man was shot and killed by an Elsmere police officer.

 

Elsmere police were called to a mobile home on Seneca Trail at about 7:30 p.m. on a report of a stabbing.

 

Kentucky State Police Lt. Rick Saint-Blancard said an Elsmere officer fired at least one shot after arriving, and the man was killed.

IF that dude stabbed his wife / girlfriend to death, I'm going to have a hard time generating a lot of sympathy for him. Obviously there is much that will come out over the next days and weeks, but if that is the deal, I'm moving on from that story and ONLY feeling incredibly sad and sorry for the two children.

Always worse when children were in the home and may have witnessed something like this.

I don't think the police released the name of anyone. Reporters interviewed the neighbors.

Exactly. That's why you saw them talking to neighbors when the new released the info. Does it really matter who the officer was?(not aimed at you LB)
