Are the numbers increasing at NCC as far as roster?

 

Henschen should have a big year with the experience he gained as a soph. Smith is still your cow bell though.

 

If the offensive line can produce time and holes the Breds should score a lot of points.

The other side of the coin is NewCath isn't inheriting some complex with Mayfield. I honestly think part of the Mayfield dominance was because they were inside the BW heads.

 

After the past two title games it may actually help NewCath direct theirfcous better if it were Mayfield on the other side as opposed to DeSales for some of the same reasons.

NewCath has beaten De Sales more recently than they've beaten Mayfield. If any team was ever in our "Head" it was Beechwood during the 90s, or Danville until '05. Those were games where we played not to make mistakes and inevitably a fumble or punt return happened, and the mistakes would compound. DeSales was just better. Mayfield very well may be as well. If they beat NewCath, it won't be due to some psychological block. It will be due to being a better team.

I know desales has won because we have been better. But I was simply saying that this can/does happen. I find it fascinating.

I watch it every season down the road from my house at Highlands. They no longer rent room in CovCath's head, they own the whole block.
