July 7, 201511 yr Author Haven't they typically named the Home Run Derby captains and participants by now? Have to think Frazier would be the NL captain. Yeah, I'm not sure they are going to have captains because they aren't picking their teams. They take the top 8 guys from each league with the most HRs, unless they turn it down, like apparently Bryce Harper has, then they move down the list.
July 7, 201511 yr I'm gonna guess and say for the NL we see Frazier, Arenado, Goldshmidt and Pederson. For the AL Martinez, Cruz, Trout and Donaldson Each guy is tops in their respective leagues and I believe they are all healthy. Pujols is the top 4 in HRs in the AL but I just don't see him participating. This would be a very entertaining derby IMO.

July 7, 201511 yr @OlDog75, I'd imagine that it's because the producers of the interview cut certain things out because I think I've heard him say it on WLW and Fox Sports, as well as his tweet that you posted. He specifically thanked Lisa Braun and Jamie Ramsey as well. That's why I posted his tweet I found on cincinnatireds.com. Like I stated, we are sooo ready to pounce. I like Frazier, he seems legit as a person/player to me.
