The following season it goes up another 17-20 million. It's 63 millionish now. In 2017 it will be a little over 100 million.

NOLA smart signing Davis to a 5 year deal now, probably saved them some coin in the last three years of that deal.

It is also a good look for AD to not try to cripple the team with a free agent unfriendly contract down the road. Everybody knows about the TV money so they can add a big time free agent in the next year or two if they get lucky.
