Union College!

Morgan County's 6'2" guard Nathaniel Peyton signed his letter of intent on Wednesday afternoon at MCHS. The athletic and smooth guard helped guide the Cougars to a 22-4 record and nearly 60% from the field and over 40% from the 3 point line. This versatile athlete makes a great collegiate choice. His 15.5ppg led the Cougars in scoring in 2006.

Congratulations to Nathaniel Peyton!

Two Cougars signing to the next level ! Impressive. :thumb: :thumb: Congrats to both.

Congrats :thumb:

Nets, several past athletes from Morgan Co have signed with Union over the years...any research on how many?

Great news! I know Coach Combs is really excited about this recruiting class he has coming in. I am too. My son saying they'll win the championship this upcoming season.

Not sure on the total but there has been some.

Most notable may have been Mike Cantrell in the 80's. He became an All-Amercican wide receiver for Union College I believe. The football team has had some kids at Union. Another good LB in the 80's was Darrell Burkes, I think he had a stint at Union College for a while.

I remember that Jonie Adkins played ball for the women too.

Didn't Ryan Williams sign with Cumberlands a couple of years ago?

You are correct Firebird

Correct me if I am wrong, but so far they have signed:

Anderson-Frankfort

Dunaway-Henry Clay

Miller-Carroll Co.

Peyton-Morgan Co.

Ganci-Barren Co.

Swim- Corbin

Dixon-Estill Co.

That is a pretty strong in-state recruiting class.

Congrats Peyton!
