June 29, 201511 yr Yes bass guitarist Chris Squire dies aged 67 - BBC News This news blew my mind this morning. I've been a fan of Yes since I was around 12. Chris Squire was a phenomenal highly influential bassist, and the only constant member that appeared on each and every Yes studio release since 1968. They've had 18 members in total over the years, yet Chris has been their only bassist throughout. Strangely not even knowing that he was ill, I was taking in some old Yes footage on Youtube for my occasional fix on the same night that he died. RIP Chris... you will be terribly missed, but your legacy never forgotten.
