Yes Bassist Chris Squire dies at age 67

Yes bass guitarist Chris Squire dies aged 67 - BBC News

This news blew my mind this morning. I've been a fan of Yes since I was around 12.

Chris Squire was a phenomenal highly influential bassist, and the only constant member that appeared on each and every Yes studio release since 1968. They've had 18 members in total over the years, yet Chris has been their only bassist throughout.

Strangely not even knowing that he was ill, I was taking in some old Yes footage on Youtube for my occasional fix on the same night that he died.

RIP Chris... you will be terribly missed, but your legacy never forgotten.

I saw that this morning. Sad news. I was always a HUGE fan of Yes. Still have most of their LPs.

Sorry to hear this. Loved their music.

Not a fan of YES. Something just irritates me about them. Sorry to hear the guy died

This X 1,000! You and I would get along great in the real world.

I'm the same way about the Who. Couldn't understand what the fascination was, but I know I'm in the minority on that one. However, always like Yes.

Some blasphemers on here!

Not a big Yes fan, but I do like this version of Leave It.

Love Yes. That's really sad news about Squire.
