Newport's Head Coach position is now open

Newport named Tim Mosley as their new athletic director.

 

Tim has done a great job rebuilding the wrestling program. Great Call Newport.

Tim was already in the building. I assume they asked around until someone said yes.

Tim is already in the building and done a great job with the wrestling program and is a great teacher. So wasn't that difficult of a decision for the AD. The football coach will probably come from the outside which means you need a committee together.

I would really like for Shawn Ford to get a serious look here. I know he applied and Newport would get a great coach. Haven't really heard of what others that have applied. I guess being an alumni from Scott I want former players and coaches to get the opportunity they deserve, and he is a good one.
