I've never worked in a bank, but no way I'm forking over any money until the guy shows me he has a gun. A note stating he has a gun ain't gonna do it for me. I'd be saying "Show me the gun, before I show you the money. "

I was about to ask the same thing. I think they should, and when somebody comes in like that, and hands over a note, pull out the gun, and tell them to hit the floor, or they're going to get shot.

Without hesitation. I'd rather give them everything and have to call my bank and CC company to cancel the cards than risk ending up dead.

And to be perfectly honest I would probably hand over the money if I were working at the bank. I do have a legal question though. Are you still charged with armed robbery if you just hand over a note stating you have a gun, or only if you actually show a weapon? If you are, why do these guys not show their weapon?
