Bengals making Rex Burkhead a receiver-running back hybrid

Featured Replies

I will say this though your boy Wilder is working at fullback some. So if he can learn that spot and prove his worth on special teams I really think the Bengals could decide to keep him over Peerman.

Are you one of those dudes standing on the bridge?

It would be a great place to watch.

And I assume the Bengals can't stop you from doing it. Anyone?

^ So if the Bengals aren't worried why spout off about adding an undersized RB to the WR mix?

Didn't Burkhead play in the slot some late last year?

The playoff loss for sure, maybe a little more.

And again my issue is with what kind of mind games Hue is playing with the players. But then again I have always questioned whether Hue is counter-productive with some of his mental tactics.

No, they can't stop you. There are a group of dudes up there all of the time. I will say that I was on the field for Rookie mini-camp for about an hour and the players notice those bridge-gawkers and it cracks them up. So there is that.

Most of them are probably die hard fans.

Most? I think they are 100% in that boat. It doesn't appear to be safe as I'm not sure there is much of a side-walk there and I'm sure drivers coming over the bridge are trying to look down while also texting 24 people at the same time.

I would say a certain percentage of them are a few fries short of a happy meal and it was something to do. You know, right place, right time, wrong mind.

I'm still on that 100% number right there with you....

Ha no I can't say I have ever participated in any bridge watching. However I do a lot of reading on line from various different people and analyst who are at the practice because I do like to stay up to date on what is going on with the team.

Also since they have moved training camp up here to Cincy. I usually go watch about 4 or 5 practices a year, and bring my little brothers or other various people. I find it relaxing and fun to watch. I like watching the drills they do and just seeing how they go about running practice.

Rex injured his knee in practice today.
