Spit-balling, I would leverage AP against the rest of the NFL for the long term good of the Vikings. In other words, I would trade him.

Trade value is undetermined though. I've seen a first and a third or fourth draft pick mentioned from one NFL source and just a third rounder from another. 30 years old, missed last season but did have 1200 yards the season before. Who the heck knows what someone might give up to take on his contract?

Exactly. Rumor was the Jerry wasn't interested in a trade and if that's true then who would be? Raiders? Dolphins? And at what price?

Certainly a complex situation for the Vikes.

 

With that said, I sure hope AP plays for someone this year. Love watching him work it.

It is so NFL for a player (AP) to complain about not getting more guaranteed money less than a year after being CONVICTED of child abuse.
