The Eagles beat Tennessee Tech, Thursday, 4-3 in 10 innings. Friday they beat Belmont 8-4 and topped the tournament off with a 16-3 win over SE Missouri.

 

Morehead, after wining the most games in program history (38-20, 20 conference wins), will be going to their 3rd NCAA Regional. The last one was in 1993.

Good luck to my Eagles in the Regional!! Proud student and fan right here!

Steve Hamilton was the coach when I went there; his son Jody was on the team.

Congrats to the Eagles. Cardinals get a chance for revenge from the 2011 NCAA hoops tourney at JPat on FRI at 6:00 PM. With Michigan also in the regional, could be some good crowds.

 

Said on the selection show that Morehead leads the NCAA in batting average.
