Yes it was!! Bracken has a VERY young team. Congrats to the Lady Bears!!

These two teams played 3 times in a span of 6 days:

 

May 6@ Mason- Lady Royals won 6-0

May 9@ Fleming Round Robin- Mason won 9-6

May 13 @ Bracken- Mason won 11-2

 

It's hard to beat a team 4 times.

Congrats to Lady Bears. This is a very young team with some developmental potential and only 1 senior on the roster. Good luck in the next round.

This team has taken their lumps this season for sure but they used all them lumps as learning tools and applied what they learned when it mattered. As mentioned 1 senior this year and only 1 or 2 juniors. Extremely young with some starting position players still in middle school.Future looks bright for Lady Bear softball.

 

To see them now compared to the begining of the season they have come a long, long way. :thumb:

That's the crux of it from my vantage point. This team lost A LOT of talent from last year and the season results have reflected the youth & inexperience. It speaks well of the girls & Coach Steinhauer that they kept plugging along. I'm really happy for them, especially the Conley kid. :thumb:

With what they lost from last years team, this is a great win for the program with such a young bunch.
