Louisville area football combines

I kind of wondered this myself. Being at the KFEC you can count on paying for parking. Other than that you should be able to come watch. Years past at Ballard there were parents and other people their to watch. I would expect the arrangement this year to be more accommodating for more spectators.

Thanks, I may stop by to see whats out there next year.

but there are so many there who have no chance to play at the next level.

That is the whole idea. It is NOT the job of a HS coach to determine if a kid is a good fit to play in college. That is best left up to the guys who are paid to make those decisions . . The college coaches. Combines can give players as well as their parents a clear indication of what their chances to play at the next level might be.

The GLFCA does a great job with this event. It is much much more that fund raiser!!

How did this event work out? Who of note was there? Any performances that really shine? They sure had a great day for it (actually too nice not to play golf). Anyone have any details?

Some of the better performances by South Oldham players:

Justin Wakefield who plays OLB ran 4.09 in the shuttle (I think it was one of the fastest times in the shuttle).
