PurplePride92 Posted March 6, 2015 Posted March 6, 2015 USC linebacker Lamar Dawson is impressing in workouts - LA Times
75center Posted March 6, 2015 Posted March 6, 2015 Boy I hope he comes back full strength. He was the only reason I ever watched the late CFB games.
Jumper_Dad Posted March 6, 2015 Posted March 6, 2015 Good to hear! Hope he has a great year and is able to make some dreams come true for his family.
PurplePride92 Posted March 6, 2015 Author Posted March 6, 2015 The good part about Lamar's story is that I believe he is scheduled to graduate this spring and plans to pursue his masters at USC next year. He's done very well out in California and I wouldn't be surprised if he becomes a permanent resident of California. We are all very proud of him back home. He's done very well for himself.

There are a lot worse things in life than a Masters from USC...good for him!
SLINK Posted March 6, 2015 Posted March 6, 2015 Lamar needs to be the enforcer and is expected to be the enforcer of the USC defense this season. They are expecting a playoff run, (maybe a year early), and has come back full strength from his injury.
75center Posted March 6, 2015 Posted March 6, 2015 Is there any talk about him being able to play at the next level?
SLINK Posted March 6, 2015 Posted March 6, 2015 Is there any talk about him being able to play at the next level? If he plays like the coaches expect him to. He is an all-conference caliber player. He has that type of talent. Fight On!!!
Clyde Posted November 15, 2015 Posted November 15, 2015 College career over. Another injury last night. Battled a lot of injuries in his career.
Jumper_Dad Posted November 15, 2015 Posted November 15, 2015 Hate to read that..good luck to the young man going forward from here.
coldweatherfan Posted November 16, 2015 Posted November 16, 2015 He always seemed like a good kid with good character and drive. If he put his full effort into his education as he did football, he will be fine. As much as I dislike USC. It is an outstanding academic school and he had a great opportunity for an outstanding education that will serve him well. Good luck young man.
SLINK Posted November 16, 2015 Posted November 16, 2015 Tough blow for Lamar and the Trojans. He will be on the sidelines cheering on his teammates. Wish him well in everything he does. Fight On!!!

He either has graduated or will be graduating this year. I was told he plans to take graduate courses at USC.
