The good part about Lamar's story is that I believe he is scheduled to graduate this spring and plans to pursue his masters at USC next year. He's done very well out in California and I wouldn't be surprised if he becomes a permanent resident of California. We are all very proud of him back home. He's done very well for himself.

Great to hear. Glad it worked out so well for him.

There are a lot worse things in life than a Masters from USC...good for him!

Lamar needs to be the enforcer and is expected to be the enforcer of the USC defense this season. They are expecting a playoff run, (maybe a year early), and has come back full strength from his injury.

Is there any talk about him being able to play at the next level?

If he plays like the coaches expect him to. He is an all-conference caliber player. He has that type of talent. Fight On!!!

He always seemed like a good kid with good character and drive.

If he put his full effort into his education as he did football, he will be fine.

As much as I dislike USC. It is an outstanding academic school and he had a great opportunity for an outstanding education that will serve him well.

Good luck young man.

Tough blow for Lamar and the Trojans. He will be on the sidelines cheering on his teammates. Wish him well in everything he does. Fight On!!!

He either has graduated or will be graduating this year. I was told he plans to take graduate courses at USC.

Love it! Any idea if he decides to stay out west if professional football is not an option? Is he now a SoCal guy?
