(2021 Update) Pulaski and Southwestern to get Turf for their fields.

Their field is not regulation size. They can't host any tournments there. Plus there isn't enough parking to have a big tournment there.

Over a million with prep work for the ground and depending on how much color and design you put on the field. The price had dropped some a few years ago the last time I talked to my neighbor that sells turf fields.

Okay, 6 years ago when the final vote came the board voted 3 to 2 against installing turf at the schools. Preliminary estimate for both schools is at $4.2 million, but Superintendent said final price may be lower.

Fast Forward to 2021 and the Board voted this week to move ahead with turf and new tracks at both schools.

 Superintendent said that new fields would be a good selling point used in attracting athletes to the schools in the coming years.
