You can scout all you want but you still have to have players capable of executing game plans and scouting information. I wish just scouting got wins.

 

Scouting still helps you when it comes to losing by 30 or by 6.

 

That's a little bit of a stretch. Scouting alone does not account for an almost 30 point difference. You still have to have the talent to execute.

Sorry to hear that for Maddie. She tried to fight thru it in the CC game but you could tell it was hurting her. She was sobbing trying to to fight thru the pain. Tough young lady.

Ok, CC is having a decent year. There is their credit. I understand they have pulled some upsets and played tough teams close, but that does come along with scouting. I don't think CC is a bad team. I would like to see them win out, but I still don't think they are where you want me to put them.

I don't think anyone from Camelland is saying they are a top team but they are having better than a "decent" year considering how young they are. You have your top 3 in NKY that IMO are notch above the lower 7 teams but as we have seen all year in girls basketball, if any of the top 3 don't bring their A game any of the lower 7 can beat them on any given night. I'm just proud of how this team has overcome adversity of injuries and a coaching carousel. I don't care who this team is playing they expect to win. I'm proud of where they were last year to how far they have come this year. Go camels!!

The Pioneers will have a tough road with holy cross and highlands still to play without her. But the true season will start on February 23rd

All i said was they surprised me by pulling a rabbit out of a hat and started playing better than I thought. But by saying this, it appears that some people think i am trying to bash this team. I dont think they are elite, but i think they are good. I have seen them play and they play well in the District that they are in. I'm just looking at overall quality wins between both teams. Sometimes the better team will lose to the underrated team. Which we call an upset. Now CC does play SK again on the road. If CC wins that game, then I will not doubt this team, but I dont see them as good as they are being made to be. I see them as a good team. But not a great team. I think that will come if they keep their consistency. If LSU would have beat KY, would that have made LSU a better team than UK? Or would that mean that LSU just played better than UK that night and most likely will not beat them again this season. So yes I still feel like SK is better. CC does have a chance to make this a magical season by pulling off some major wins as the season ends. Yes I am pulling for CC to win those games because I would like to see Holmes lose again, SK see what it is like to lose twice to the same team if that will happen, and the loss to BB get avenged. That is my peice. :thumb:

Having watched both teams play at their best and most intense, witnessing the skill levels, physicality and strengths of both teams I can say this. SK has 3 players in Bosse, Neace and Meier, that are a tick above their CC counterparts. This in no way takes anything away from the CC players as these 3 are near the top in their respective positions. That said I think CC presents the challenge of being very skilled at all positions, possessing greater depth and more importantly greater balance making them hard to defend.

...and this is why I greatly dislike when people post injuries of kids. Within 1 1/2 hours there were 2 different injury reports on Maddie.

Not saying he/she isn't reliable, I am just not a fan of posting underage kids injuries on a public forum especially, when the information was wrong it seems like (1 of the 2 are wrong). Just my 2 cents.

 

...and with this I will say in the past 2 weeks (roughly), I have seen 3 different people's injuries or status posted incorrectly.
