First congrats to Bracken CO.. Greenup played really bad, player rotation was really bad, the offence was slow, no movement , and no ball movement. Talent wise Greenup was the better team, but talent didn't win this one.. Don't know how many times a Greenup player would make a couple plays, score a basket or two , then be taken out of the game. Then sit for a long time. In the 1st , Greenup up 8 (I think) Harold took Hughes out for the fine `ll 3 min, and the lead got cut down to 3 (I think). He wasn't in foul trouble, so I don't know. Brody Shoupe started and played well when he was in, and at the end ,less than a min to go Harold sub`s a kid was had not played 1 min the hole game or very many this year. With Shoupe and Grooms sitting there. And on top of that Grooms who started a lot of games this year, and in my op should still be , played half of the JV game, just crazy. When he was in the varsity game he scored , played good D and rebounded, but than would be taken out real quick. I have no clue what Harold is doing, other than not winning game`s .

The Jackson and Hughes kids stood out on the broadcast, what are their heights, grade and positions? Do you have any stats on Jackson's blocks and his FTA-FTM in this game?

JAIR Jackson 6`7 sr center. Gage Hughes 6`0 fr guard . Jackson had a ton of blocks and rebounds , always does. I don't have his numbers. Hughes is a shooter , was cold last night, was avg around 16 a game. Really good ball handler and passer.

Jair Jackson 6"7 forward. He is a senior. Small frame but very good in the paint. High energy player and when he plays all out he really stands out. For some reason in the games I've watched Greenup this year he doesn't get the ball enough. Gage Hughes 6"0 freshman shooting guard. Really good shooter and can create his own shot. Good all around player and in my opinion either the best freshman in the 16th or top 2. He should be a 20 ppg scorer throughout the rest of his career. I think has Greenup has a lot of talent. Just very inconsistent play. I feel like they are capable of beating anyone in the region, but also if they don't play well could lose to teams that they should beat by 15 points.

I agree. Jackson is real good shot blocker. Would like to say Greenup run more plays for both Jackson and Hughes.

Jackson is a load down low very athletic and has a nose for blocking shots. I thought the kid that checked in there at the end and had not played all game checked in because someone fouled out and I just assumed it was to foul on the inbounds play. :idunno:

Oh and im truly sorry to hear about the broken wrist suffered by the senior. Hate to see or hear about stuff like that.

Thanks for the result. Now ol' papa gan get to work scoring the NKY contest.

No rest for the weary. Today I got up at 7:30, photographed and listed 4 eBay items (one sold at a sweet $55 profit), took a nap, hung out on BGP, went to the store, ate lunch, took a nap, hung out on BGP, ate supper, worked a crossword puzzle, went to the Fairview-St. Pat game, hung out on BGP, ate a snack and hung out on BGP.

Tough day.

What I take from this post is you squeezed a ball game in between nap sessions because BGP made you sleepy. :idunno:

And suckered some poor soul outta 55 bucks. Not bad for a day's work.
