See Weyer filled it up again last night. Seems to be the piece of the puzzle that no one in NKY has an answer for except maybe the Blue Colonels. Heard that Coastal Carolina was in town to see him play earlier this week. Might he be the most highly recruited player at NCC in quite some time?

 

He certainly can do it all, score, rebound, handle the ball, alter/block shots :scared:, & can defend.

Only other 2 I can think of maybe are Ronny Dawn Jr and John Brannen.

NCC far superior on this night. We were able to be patient and hang in there for about 10 minutes' date=' and then it was over. The Breds loomed over us, blocking a myriad of shots. They play together well and had a great shooting night. I was happy for our JVs who play extremely hard and were able to overcome some adversity and win. They along with Jackson Crawford and Jacob Zai should represent us well in 2015-16.[/quote']

I'm happy for that JV group. They plod along in obscurity, and have matured quite nicely this year. I wish they had the opportunity to play in the NKy JV Tourney. Not sure why that didn't happen.

 

Congrats to NCC Varsity. Played as a "team" (agree on McDonald .. that young man does whatever is necessary for the team to achieve .. very unselfish). I was impressed by their Defense .. it wasn't that Brossart shot a poor percentage .. they had trouble even getting off shots. Best of luck in the 9th.

One was a complaint from a player about a bad call. Kid was called for a foul and never touched the player. He said something to the ref. The shooter got mugged but it was by another player not the one that was assessed with the foul.

Second was taunting. A player made a strong move to the rack, got fouled and the basket was good. He celebrated and just happened to be in the face of a defensive player as he came through the traffic.

 

First half of the game was poorly officiated. Even made a comment to LB on the update thread. Bluegrass evaluator was at the game and must have chatted with the refs at halftime. Much better job after the break. Forget the number of fouls in the first half, maybe 25? I think I noted 3 fouls in the second half midway through the 4th quarter.
